Okay.
Great. June is nearly over...and we have two months left of summer. With the money we made from CD sales, (around $250...)
we bought an 8-track recording device.
We have used it to produce one "song". I use quotation
marks because it's not fully finished yet. In fact, it's not even close. It is titled "Sick and Tired" so listen to it.
You'll get the gist of what it will sound like. No lyrics yet though.
It's been nice to have a little downtime and not be
pressured into making songs. We don't know when our next one will be coming out.
All 4 of us are working hard, because Cindy is really
pushing us this time. Our next album will be more serious...and I know that some (many) people do NOT like serious songs.
Oh well. We might remake some of the olden-tyme songs and clean then up and make them better.

Well. Summer is here.
I won't be seeing many of you
for awhile...
But I hope you check on here every
once in a while. We WILL have a new CD by next school year. But then again, you know how reliable our dates are.
We have a little over $200 now for
our 8-track. Thank you very much for those of you who bought one of our CDs.
I sincerely think it is MUCHO better
than our last "album". Peter is the only one I know of who likes the last one better. Apparently he has a brain for geography
but not for the tunes.
Once again, you can hear FOUR songs
at the MySpace website. Not "dock", our personal MySpace, but "The Dock Brothers" the band. You cannot download them. You
can only sample them and rate them.
Have a good summer, and listen to
Wirefold. No matter how quiet it is.

YES! IT'S DONE!
After constantly changing dates for like a
month and a half, and after writing the songs for like 8 months, it's done. It's finished. And it's here.
How good is it? You decide, homie. Just come
up to one of the Bros. at school and give us five bucks and we'll make the trade.
There are 17 tracks, and it is 35 minutes long,
which is longer than Golden. Golden sucked, sucks, and will suck compared to Wirefold.
Production for the next CD is already underway.
All proceeds go directly to the "Buy the Dock
Brothers an 8-Track" fund.

Lucky turteenth.

Hey. Whadup.
Angels and Airwaves CD came out today. That's pretty
sweet.
Our CD will come out the day after Memorial Day. For
sure. We had a sign up sheet for it, and we already have 30 people signed up for it. It's 5 dollars and it's WIREFOLD.
There will be 20 tracks, 12 feature songs, and at
least 40 minutes long.
I cleaned up all the clutter in the navigation bar,
so now there really is none. I put everything in the CRAP MUSEUM.
Also, the navigation bar has been replaced with "icons"
instead of words. Much sexier in my opinion. The main 4 have been left up there. The Home Page, the Museum, the Guestbook,
and the Members.

Well, guess what. Albananas
has to help his sister move. So. This recording thang will be pushed back another week. We could be able to do it on Sunday,
but that's MOTHER'S DAY! GAAHHH!
Oh, plus next weekend my g-ma is coming down (or up)
from Illinois.
So I am actually lucky that we can do this next weekend
even! And if we can't, the whole thing is done for. And we lose the bet. That is all.

Wirefold: May 15th!!!
Alright! We have succesfully...pretty much...finished all of our
songs. Now all we need to do is record them!
Yes, the next album name is Wirefold.
This is a massive inside joke, and will make us laugh while you
guys go "What the cscou?"
There are now 4 Dock Brothers sites. They are as follows:
So yeah. The last two are kinda lame...but they give us a little
more publicity apparently. Shwoopdeedoo!
The band has agreed that we aren't going to let our songs be downloaded
anymore...all the old ones can still be. But the new ones won't.
You will be able to listen to, I believe, 4 new songs on our purevolume
site (that is, when we get them recorded), but you can't download them. It's like a sample scoop of ice cream, and then you
can buy it! Awesome.
Oh, if anybody is a whiz at the myspace thing, please notify us either
at school or in the guestbook. We don't have any idea what's going on with that thing, and we need some help.
That's about it, and Cindy's thinkin the album will be released May
15th. So once again, keep your pants on.
